Summit City’s How-To Video Series!
Summit City Prosthetics is proud to offer an ever-growing library of how-to videos on a wide variety of prosthetic and orthotic topics. Perfect for new amputee patients, those wearing an orthotic brace for the first time, families and treating therapists and nurses, these videos provide helpful visual aids and instructions on the basics and more advanced areas of prosthetic and orthotic care.
These videos are filmed from the perspective of your latest appointment either with your Prosthetist, Orthotist or Therapist as a helpful tool to remember the details of wear and care, donning and doffing (putting on/taking off) and other activities of daily living and real life scenarios.

Turnstone Center for Children & Adult with Disabilities
Our friends at Turnstone’s Fitness & Aquatic Center are an incredibly valuable resource for our patients! Turnstone offers adaptive sports and recreation programs for youth, adults, and veterans living with limb loss or limb differences. Adaptive sports and recreation provide physical, social, and mental health benefits including increased strength and endurance, leadership and team-building skills, independence, and more. Turnstone’s staff work one-on-one with participants to identify their goals and refine their adaptations to support an active lifestyle, including competitive and leisure activities. Sports and recreation include opportunities for all skill levels including someone trying an activity for the first time, someone who wants to enhance their skills and techniques, up to the individual who has goals and aspiring to be at the high performance level.
Theramobility: Therapeutic Mobility Services
Looking for driver’s rehabilitation? Driving is an essential task that contributes to health through social engagement, the ability to work, participate in essential daily activities, and fully enjoy leisure activities. Disability, injury, illness, and even aging can interfere with operating a motor vehicle and curb your independence. Whether you need to regain previous driving skill or develop the ability to drive for the first time, we can help you get there.
AWS Foundation Indiana Disability Resource Finder
In 2019, the AWS Foundation in Fort Wayne, Indiana officially launched a free program just for Indiana called IndianaDisabilityResourceFINDER.org. Affectionately nicknamed FINDER, its another step in our master plan to make it easier for people of all abilities to identify and locate disability-related resources in their local communities.
FINDER is a free comprehensive online tool specifically designed to connect people with disabilities, family members, and professionals with disability-related programs, services, equipment and advocates. It supports local communities anywhere in Indiana.
NeighborLink Fort Wayne
Since 2003, NeighborLink’s mission has remained the same: to provide practical expressions of God’s love to our neighbors in need. Thanks to GPS technology, you can use this platform to safely link up with local neighbors in need. From basic tasks, such as yard work and snow removal, to more skilled projects, like wheelchair ramps or plumbing needs, our goal is to make loving our neighbors as simple as possible.
CitiLink Transportation
For over 50 years, Citilink has been offering public transportation services to the Fort Wayne and New Haven areas. From youth summer passes to our MedLink bus that connects individuals to the Parkview Health System to our Access service that provides rides for individuals that have a disability or are a senior – Citilink is an organization that all can rely on. Transportation is offered Monday through Saturday on twelve fixed route lines, plus two deviation routes. Citilink is an affordable, dependable solution to get you where you need to be. With citywide access to that better job, next degree, and a world of entertainment, life’s opportunities are as close as the nearest bus stop.

PACE of Northeast Indiana
Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a Medicare and Medicaid program that helps people meet their health care needs in the community instead of going to a nursing home or other care facility. With PACE, you have a team of health care professionals working with you and your family to make sure you get the coordinated care you need.
Amputee Coalition
The Amputee Coalition is an American nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C. The Amputee Coalition’s mission is to reach out to and empower people affected by limb loss to achieve their full potential through education, support and advocacy, and to promote limb loss prevention.

The League for the Blind & Deaf – Fort Wayne
A fantastic resource for our patient’s with vision challenges, the League provides and promotes opportunities that empower people with disabilities to achieve their potential. The League works with individuals of all ages with any disability to help them gain the skills and service they need to remain in their homes and communities. The League is rooted in service to people who are blind or low-vision in our community, including training, mentorship, case coordination, adaptive equipment, and more.
